Limited Capacity full

San Diego has a rich and colorful history, which is collectively held by the diverse communities of the city. In this full day project “slice,” participants will assume the role of community planners, working together in teams to explore the local and cultural context of San Diego, develop a digital interpretation of their findings, and craft a proposed vision for the future of the city. Through this immersive Project Based Learning experience, participants will take the stance of a learner to understand the transformative nature of learning by doing, and reflect on the implications of PBL teaching and unit design. Be prepared to interact with locals, and wear comfortable shoes for exploring sunny San Diego.
