So you don’t think you have enough time to do project-based learning in your busy schedule? Want to start small with just an hour or so a week? Come check out this workshop to learn one way to do a successful, year-long PBL project in 60-90 minutes a week. You will be guided through a step by step process to develop your own playground improvement project that will include strategies for deciding on a great idea with an authentic audience and product, breaking the project down into 2-3 manageable phases, creating a timeline with due dates, and drafting your project calendar for each phase. During this process, you will participate in a project tuning to get feedback from your colleagues as well as a dilemma consultancy to address challenges. You will leave this workshop with the groundwork to start an impactful PBL project in your classroom.
