Limited Capacity full

The student-centered and collaborative nature of project based learning enables students to grow not only academically, but also socially. PBL provides opportunities for students to share opinions, to respectfully disagree, to share materials and space, and to problem solve when conflicts arise. In this session we will be exploring ways support teachers in building a classroom culture where students communicate effectively, problem solve using empathy, collaborate, and work productively with one another. Learn a variety of strategies through resources and practices that help teachers to build student capacity to negotiate the challenging social aspects of project based learning.
