Come learn about how you can empower your students and amplify their voices through Student Consulting! Student Consulting is a program that flips the script and supports students in coaching teachers to improve their own classroom experience. In our session, you will hear a very intro about different ways Student Consulting can be structured, including two examples from High Tech High schools. After this intro, the students themselves take center stage. A panel of Student Consultants and cooperating teachers will answer your questions about the implementation, experience, and results of the program. Finally, you'll have time to start planning how to incorporate more student voice into your work -- with our Student Consultants available to weigh in. You will leave with inspiration -- and a package of materials to support implementation of a Student Consulting program at your school site, whether it's just within your classroom or school-wide!
