DIANE RAMO is Lead Instructional Specialist for Lincoln Center Education, working primarily with the New Visions Charter High Schools-LCE Partnership. She is passionate about the transformative power of the arts and imaginative thinking in urban education. Over the years, she has guided many LCE partnerships and professional development sessions. Diane was an LCE dance teaching artist for 10 years, prior to joining the staff in 2000 . She was the artistic director and primary choreographer for the Downtown Dance Company in Baltimore. She founded the contemporary dance series Dance on the Edge at the Baltimore Museum of Art in 1987. She is an active member of New York’s Argentine Tango community.
